I’m in Maine, looking for moose.  Joe-san and Nancy-san and I have been so busy that I haven’t had time to write my blog.  I promise I’ll tell you all about my adventures as soon as I can.

Hi, Everyone!

Sodus Bay is full of blue-green algae!  It makes the water look icky!  Grandma and Grandpa have never seen it before. The newspaper and television stories say it’s because of the very warm, shallow water conditions.  They say it could make children and small animals (including little lions) sick, so I have to stay away and make sure I keep my paws clean. Today was a really good day!  My best buds Joe-san and Nancy-san came out to Sodus to stay.  They brought blueberry syrup that Nancy-san made from blueberries they picked in Maine.  That’s the very same place I picked blueberries when I was there, looking for moose.  Continue reading “Blueberries and Tzatziki”

Hi, Everyone!

Grandma and Grandpa’s niece Bev is visiting us this weekend.  It is fun to get to know another member of the family!  We picked her up at the airport and came right out to Sodus.

The first morning, it was very windy and cloudy.  Grandma could see spray from big waves breaking on the lighthouse pier all the way from our dock, so we took Bev up to the beach to see them. Continue reading “Ratatouille!”

Our cruise ended with a bus trip to Paris.  As soon as I saw the Eiffel tower, I got very excited.  This is where Remy and Linguini live!   I hoped Grandma and Grandpa would take me to their restaurant so I could eat ratatouille. Continue reading “Paris!”

Boy, have I had a couple of busy days!  Yesterday, we started out in Mainz, Germany.  I got to see St. Stephan’s church.  The buildings are made of red sandstone, but the windows are blue stained glass designed by a famous artist, Marc Chagall.  Continue reading “Even More Cruise Stories”

The past two days we’ve continued cruising on the Main river.  “Main” comes from a Celtic word meaning “snake”, because the river curves around so much.

Hi, everyone!

Now I am on a big river boat cruising on the Main-Danube canal and the Main river in Germany.  The Amacello is as big as a hotel.  Their gangplank even has a red carpet on it to make me feel welcome, although the first step was a big one for a little lion.  Everybody is very nice and I am making lots of friends.  Continue reading “Cruising Down the River”

Hi, everyone!

Grandma and Grandpa and I spent the weekend in Prague, Czech Republic.  It was a very long plane trip to get here!  We left Friday at lunch time and didn’t get here until Saturday morning.  After we got settled on Saturday, we took a walk to see the Charles bridge over the Vltava (Moldau) River.  Continue reading “My Weekend in Prague”
