A Very Busy Week

Hi, Everyone!

Boy, have I been busy!  The leaves around here have turned pretty colors, just like they were in Maine last month.  Moose-san and I have been enjoying looking at them.  This time of year, Grandma and Grandpa need to get everything out of the water at Sodus.  I helped them haul the sailboat and clean it off.  Then I took Moose-san to the pumpkin patch at the farm market. Moose Quest

Hi, Everyone!

I’m back from my Maine adventure with Joe-san and Nancy-san!

It was a loooooooooooooooooong ride to Maine but I thought I was getting closer to seeing a moose.  As soon as we got to Maine, I started to see moose signs.  I wanted to get started moose-watching right away, but we needed to get settled at base camp first.  Joe-san showed me the new float and  Nancy-san dived right in.  Continue reading “Moose Quest”

Something Blue

Hi, Everyone!

Sodus Bay is full of blue-green algae!  It makes the water look icky!  Grandma and Grandpa have never seen it before. The newspaper and television stories say it’s because of the very warm, shallow water conditions.  They say it could make children and small animals (including little lions) sick, so I have to stay away and make sure I keep my paws clean. Ratatouille!

Hi, Everyone!

Grandma and Grandpa’s niece Bev is visiting us this weekend.  It is fun to get to know another member of the family!  We picked her up at the airport and came right out to Sodus.

The first morning, it was very windy and cloudy.  Grandma could see spray from big waves breaking on the lighthouse pier all the way from our dock, so we took Bev up to the beach to see them. Continue reading “Ratatouille!”
