Hi, Everyone!
I’m back from my trip to the Canadian Rockies with Papa Dick-san and Grandma Sue-san and the Losee-sans. I had a really good time and made lots of new friends.
Our first stop was in Yoho National Park, which is right next to Banff National Park. I climbed up a tree so I could get a good look at Takakkow Falls. Then my new friend LaVache and I hiked around Emerald Lake. Continue reading “Rocky Mountain Hi!”

Off to Canada!
Hi, Everyone!
I am off on an adventure in the Canadian Rockies with Papa Dick-san, Grandma Sue-san and the Losee-sans. We had a very long day getting to Banff. It was good that I was there to help find our way, though. Would you believe the pilot in Chicago flew the wrong way to get to Calgary? Continue reading “Off to Canada!”
Sailing!
Hi, Everyone!
Yesterday, Grandma and Grandpa took me sailing! When we got to Sodus in the afternoon, there was a nice sailing breeze. Grandpa got the sails out of the closet, and Grandma helped me put on my life jacket so I could go along. Continue reading “Sailing!”
Saturday at Sodus
Hi, Everyone!
Yesterday was a pretty typical summer day at Sodus!
First, Grandma got me up to see the sunrise. That was really early, but watching the sun reflecting off the clouds before it actually rose was worth it! And I got to go back to bed for a while afterward.
After breakfast, I wanted to go on a kayak paddle. Grandma said the wind was a good direction and speed to go for a paddle all the way to Sodus Point, and that’s what we did! Continue reading “Saturday at Sodus”
A Party at the Zoo!
Hi, Everyone!
Last night Grandma and Grandpa took me to a birthday party at the Seneca Park Zoo. Tom-san is celebrating his seventieth birthday! He is a member of Grandma and Grandpa’s church and he sings in the choir. So I knew lots of people at the party. The zoo is a fun place for a party! Continue reading “A Party at the Zoo!”
Friends and Food
Hi, Everyone!
Since we got back from California, I’ve been helping make a lot of food for my friends to eat. It’s always fun to make food when I know we’re going to have a party!
The basil Grandma is growing on the back deck got big enough to harvest, so we made pesto. Continue reading “Friends and Food”
Even More California!
Hi, Everyone!
On Sunday, Grandma helped Moose-san and me blog about our San Francisco adventures before Grandpa’s birthday dinner. On Monday, we all had breakfast at the hotel with Aunt Kara and Uncle Steven. I helped Grandma make waffles with strawberries for everybody. Then Moose-san and I helped Grandma pack a box of coffee and jelly beans. Continue reading “Even More California!”
More California!
Hi, Everyone!
We’ve been having more adventures in California. On Friday, we drove to Napa Valley on a very twisty road! First, we stopped at Joe-san’s favorite store, at Greystone, the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena. He likes to see what’s new for cooks there. I showed Moose-san the chocolate truffles for sale. Don’t they look yummy? Continue reading “More California!”
California Wine Country
Hi, Everyone!
Grandma and Grandpa and Joe-san and Nancy-san and I are in California for Grandpa’s birthday. Moose-san came along, too! Moose-san had never taken an airplane ride before, so I was a good helper and showed him how to get ready. Continue reading “California Wine Country”
Now It’s June!
Hi, Everyone!
We’re finally beginning to get some nice weather! We’ve had enough sun that I could enjoy Grandma’s flowers at Sodus. Grandma says the yellow azalea is prettier than it has ever been before. I guess azaleas like cool, rainy weather better than I do! Continue reading “Now It’s June!”
