Hi, everyone!
After James and I went to the National Zoo, the weather in Washington DC started to get really hot! We only got to go on one more walk before it got too warm for babies to be outside. James’ Grandma Ginny came to visit, so James had another nice place to take a nap. Continue reading “Going Fourth!”

A Day at the Zoo
Hi, everyone!
Yesterday James and I went to the National Zoo! Aunt Kara and Grandma and Grandpa went with us. The National Zoo is a very pretty place and the weather was just right for being outside. As soon as I got there, I made friends with a lion named FONZ, and then I introduced FONZ to James and Grandma. He was happy to meet them! Continue reading “A Day at the Zoo”
Cooking, Mostly!
Hi, everyone!
We’ve been spending time at Sodus since we came back from visiting baby James. Grandma and I took a walk to see the wildflowers on the bank just south of us. One night, when Lake Ontario was calm, we took a boat ride to see Chimney Bluffs at sunset. Continue reading “Cooking, Mostly!”
Baby James!
Hi, everyone!
Grandma and Grandpa took me to Virginia to meet baby James! When we got to Uncle Steven and Aunt Kara’s house, James was waiting for us at the door. Grandma introduced us and we were friends right away! Continue reading “Baby James!”
Lucky Me!
Hi, everyone!
Lots of good things have been happening to me lately!
First, I got to spend a lot of time at Sodus with Grandma and Grandpa, right while the azaleas and rhododendron were in full bloom. My azalea and rhododendron friends take turns blooming over about two weeks, and then the flowers are all gone. Continue reading “Lucky Me!”
A New Baby!
Hi, everyone!
Uncle Steven and Aunt Kara’s baby is here! His name is James Robert, and he was born this morning at 11:26 a.m. He weighs 7 lbs. 10 oz. and he is 21 1/2 inches long, so he’s already way bigger than me! I hope he likes little lions!

Spring Again!
Hi, everyone!
I think it’s finally going to stay spring here! The leaves are out on all the trees except the oaks, and it’s sunny and green today.
I’ve been helping Grandpa finish the new kitchen floor at Sodus. When it was part way done, I helped him unfasten the ladder to the loft, so we could put the new flooring under it. Now it’s done! Continue reading “Spring Again!”
Snow, O No!
Hi, everyone!
The weather this season is getting even more mixed up! Last week, we had sunny days and the flowers were blooming. I made friends with a flowering magnolia tree and more of my daffodil friends were in bloom.
Then, on Monday morning, there was snow outside! Continue reading “Snow, O No!”
A Very Busy Saturday
Hi, Everyone!
Yesterday was a very busy day! In the morning, I helped Grandpa work on the new floor for the Sodus kitchen. Grandpa filled the uneven places in the floor with layers of thin floor tiles. They remind me of a patchwork quilt! Grandpa showed me how he cuts the pieces of new floor to the right shapes. Continue reading “A Very Busy Saturday”
Holy Week!
Hi, Everyone!
Grandma says that the week between Palm Sunday and Easter is called Holy Week. This year, Holy Week was really sunny but it was cold out! When I got up early, I could see frost on the deck. So I stayed inside to wave my Palm Sunday palms at my favorite sunbeam. When I did go outside, look what I found! Something ate the tulips! Continue reading “Holy Week!”
