Hi, everyone!
Grandma and Grandpa and I had Thanksgiving dinner with my best buddies Joe-san and Nancy-san and Moose-san. Nancy-san makes the stuffing for the turkey with bread from the bake sale! Moose-san and I were good helpers. We made sure the turkey was done and the plum pudding was steamed. When it was time for dessert, Moose-san and I served the plum pudding and the apple pie. Baking … and James!
Hi, everyone!
I had another busy week! First, I helped out with the Election Day bake sale at Grandma and Grandpa’s church. On the Saturday before the election, my buddies Joe-san and Nancy-san came over to help load up the flour, sugar and baking equipment. Continue reading “Baking … and James!”
Indian Summer
Hi, everyone!
We’ve had a lot of sunny, warm weather over the last week! Grandma says this is called “Indian Summer”. Last Wednesday, it was so nice that Grandma and Grandpa put sealer on the driveway. That’s very black and sticky stuff! I wanted to help, but Grandma says if I got any sealer on my fur, I would have spots like a leopard forever! Continue reading “Indian Summer”
Getting Ready for Fall
Hi, everyone!
It’s definitely getting to be fall here! Last time I wrote, I had just made friends with the only Peace rose to bloom on Grandma’s rose bush this year. Then the vines on the trees at Sodus turned red, and now the oak leaves in Fairport are beginning to fall. It won’t be long until I have big leaf piles to play in again! Continue reading “Getting Ready for Fall”
Third Creek
Hi, everyone!
This morning Grandma and I went hiking! The Nature Conservancy bought the land around Third Creek at Sodus last year, and today was the first hike with Nature Conservancy guides. Grandma and Grandpa and I drive past the Third Creek outlet all the time, and I was curious to find out what’s there! Continue reading “Third Creek”
James Came!
Hi, everyone!
I spent most of last week at Sodus with Grandma and Grandpa, because Uncle Steven and Aunt Kara brought James to visit! I’d been waiting for him to visit, so I could give him my new book. When James got to Sodus, I gave the book to him right away! Continue reading “James Came!”
Toronto!
Hi, everyone!
Grandma and Grandpa took me on a trip to Toronto Canada! Grandma’s niece Bev was at a class there, so we drove around Lake Ontario to meet her. Bev said she wanted to visit the CN Tower, so that’s where we went first. The CN Tower is the tallest building in Toronto. Continue reading “Toronto!”
Lego and Let’s Go
Hi, everybody!
A week ago on Saturday we all went to the Lego Discovery Center in Tokyo. It’s just across the Rainbow Bridge near Tokyo Bay, and there is even a beach nearby! I was really excited to visit the Miniland, because I recognized models of some buildings we visited on our last visit to Japan. Continue reading “Lego and Let’s Go”
A Busy Day in Hakone!
Hi, everyone!
Grandma and Grandpa and I went with Bill-kun and Karin-chan’s family to a mountain resort, Hakone. The mountains there are parts of old volcanos, and there are lakes and hot springs. On Tuesday, we had a very busy day! Continue reading “A Busy Day in Hakone!”
Kidzania!
Hi, everyone!
Now Grandma and Grandpa and I are visiting Bill-kun and Karin-chan and their mommy and daddy. Yesterday we went to Kidzania, on the other side of Tokyo. Kidzania is a place where boys and girls can have fun trying out jobs. Grandma says it felt like a mixture of Disney World and Take Your Child to Work day! Continue reading “Kidzania!”
