Hi, everyone!
The wet snow we had at Thanksgiving all melted off the next week. But now we’re having very cold weather and lots of new snow! The lights on the apple trees look really nice in the snow! Continue reading “A Snowy Weekend!”

Into Winter
Hi, everyone!
We’re getting ready for winter and the holidays now! I let Kitty-san and EUS know about the things we do to remember Uncle Bill, like putting lights on the apple trees and decorating the Christmas tree at church. Grandma and Grandpa got new lights to put on the apple trees, and Kitty-san and EUS and I helped Grandma put them on. Continue reading “Into Winter”
Treats, Treats, Treats!
Hi, everyone!
The leaves are really falling now! After Grandma and Grandpa made the first big leaf piles in Fairport, I took EUS and Kitty-san out to play in the leaves. Some of the maple leaves are the same colors we are, so we had to be careful not to get lost! Continue reading “Treats, Treats, Treats!”
Pies, Pies, Pies!
Hi, everybody!
I’ve been busy showing Kitty-san around Grandma and Grandpa’s neighborhood. Grandma took us to my favorite pumpkin patch, at Powers Farm Market. There are pumpkins in lots of colors! Kitty-san and I got to sit in the hay wagon in between hayrides, then we visited the animals. Continue reading “Pies, Pies, Pies!”
Apples, Apples, Apples!
Hi everyone!
Even more of the trees are turning color now, and we have lots of leaves falling out of the trees. The apples are getting ripe, too, and I had a very apple week! Last Sunday, the Young Families from Grandma and Grandpa’s church came out to Sodus to pick apples at Crackerbox Palace (Alasa Farms). I got to see my friends Lyla and Nina and Patrick and Lily and Hannah again! Continue reading “Apples, Apples, Apples!”
The Last Days of Summer
Hi, everyone!
Grandpa says today is officially the last day of summer, and we had some summer weather again this week! On Wednesday, Grandma and Grandpa took me to Corbett’s Glen. That’s a park in the valley of Allens Creek. It’s a little hard to find! We had to walk under a railroad bridge and go past somebody’s house to get there! The creek gets into the park the same way we did. Continue reading “The Last Days of Summer”
Sails and Rails
Hi, everyone!
Last weekend, Grandpa got a repair kit and fixed the leak in Godzilla that Uncle Steven found. I helped Grandpa inflate Godzilla and Godzilla stood right up! There was a nice sailing breeze, so Grandma and Grandpa took me out for a sail. Look at how far the sailboat heels over when there’s a nice wind! I got to help Grandma trim the jib and then I helped Grandpa steer the boat. Continue reading “Sails and Rails”
A Long Weekend with James!
Hi, everyone!
Last Friday Uncle Steven and Aunt Kara brought James out to Sodus for the weekend! James brought his lion, and we’re getting to be good friends! After lunch, we all took a ride to Burnap’s Farm Market. While Grandma and Aunt Kara bought heirloom tomatoes and melons and lettuce, we lions and Uncle Steven and James went to the wooden train in the play area. Continue reading “A Long Weekend with James!”
There and Back Again
Hi, everyone!
It was really hot during our last weekend in Japan! On our way back from the Skytree on Friday, we got sashimi and yakitori at the grocery store for dinner. I watched to make sure Karin-chan ate her dinner! On Saturday, Bill-kun and Karin-chan and I played with water balloons in the wading pool to stay cool. Continue reading “There and Back Again”
Nikko and Skytree!
Hi everyone!
We had a busy week! On Monday, we took the train to go to Nikko, up in the mountains. We had to get up very early and walk to the local train station to get to Shinjuku on time for our Nikko train! We bought breakfast food at Shinjuku to eat on the Nikko train. Guess what? Bill-kun’s loose front tooth finally came out while we were on the train! Continue reading “Nikko and Skytree!”
