Spring?

When we got back from Hawaii, we had some warm days ! The first daffodils and crocuses started to bloom.

Back Home!

Leap Day was our last full day on Kauai. Grandma and Joe-san and I waited until after lunch to go to the beach.

I have a lot to tell you about! Uncle Steven’s family was here for ten days, then, the day they left, Joe-san came to stay with us! So I got to go to some of my favorite places more than once!

In Hawaii, the crescent moon is a smile! At home, the crescent is more like a “c”. Grandpa says the difference is we’re closer to the equator here.

Reconnecting!

Grandma and Grandpa have brought me to Kauai so many times now that I have lots of friends here! Whenever we visit, I get to see them all again!

We had a week of cold weather, but not much snow. Then we got more snow, but it didn’t stay around very long!

Not Much Snow!

We didn’t have much snow at all over the Christmas holidays! There were some snow flurries between Christmas and New Years, but most of the snow melted right away!
