Sunday and Apple Pie – The Further Adventures of Lion-San

Hi, everyone!
On Sunday, it was sunny but still cold at Bill-kun and Karin-chan’s house. The melting snow made everything muddy, so we stayed inside. First I played the Lego Star Wars video game with Bill-kun and Karin-chan and their daddy, then we watched a Strawberry Shortcake movie on the TV.

I helped Bill-kun and Karin-chan play Lego Star Wars.

After that, Grandma said it was time to make the apple pie! I didn’t want to get flour on my fur and mane, so I let Bill-kun help Grandma make the crust. He did a good job! Then I helped Bill-kun slice the apples in the food processor, and Grandma let me help add spices to the filling. Bill-kun and Karin-chan wanted their initials on top of the pie, so Grandma cut them into the crust with a knife. The pie looked yummy and tasted yummy, too!

Bill-kun put flour on the counter so he could roll out the pie crust.

I stayed out of the flour and let Bill-kun roll the pie crust!

I made sure the crust was rolled out big enough for the pie plate.

Bill-kun and I sliced the apples in the food processor.

I helped Grandma put the cinnamon in the pie filling.

Bill-kun and Karin-chan told Grandma to put their initials on the crust.

I’m glad I didn’t get flour on me like Bill-kun and Karin-chan did!

This morning Grandma and I got up very early, because we’re going on another adventure! I helped Grandma get her suitcase closed. It’s really full, even though we brought some things here that we’re leaving behind. We took three trains to get to the airport, and now we’re waiting to get on the plane. Guess where we’re going next? Someplace warmer!
