Now that we’ve started having snow and very cold weather, it’s harder to get out to Sodus to stay.  We did get out for one overnight right after I wrote last time.  I helped Grandma and Grandpa roll out the deer fencing to protect the rhododendron flower buds.  Continue reading “December Report!”

The day before Karin-chan’s shichi-go-san ceremony, Grandma and Grandpa and Joe-san and Nancy-san took Moose-san and me for a walk around Shinjuku.  We went to the Municipal Government Building, where there’s an observatory in each of the towers of Building One.  It’s not as high up as Skytree, but it’s free to visit!  Continue reading “Three Rituals and a Return”
